Next festival: date to be confirmed
Festival on the Field runs every other year. The most recent festival, the fifth, took place on Saturday 4 July 2026, headlined by Massaoke. A date for the next festival has not yet been announced, and we will add it here when it is.
About the festival
Festival on the Field is a volunteer-run family festival held on the playing fields of Sir John Lawes School in Harpenden. It is organised by the parents’ associations of Sir John Lawes School and Manland Primary School, and the money it raises goes to both schools.
The festival attracts up to 3,200 mostly local visitors for a day of live music and tribute acts, fairground attractions, food stalls and licensed bars, in a relaxed setting aimed at families.
For tickets and news of the next festival, see the Festival on the Field website.
