Harpenden Reuse Shop is run alongside the Harpenden Household Waste Recycling Centre on Dark Lane, under Hertfordshire County Council’s reuse scheme. It sells good-quality secondhand furniture, household goods and other items that would otherwise be thrown away, diverting them from landfill.
The shop is aimed at giving unwanted but usable items a second life at low cost, and is promoted through the recycling centre and a Facebook page rather than a dedicated website.
