The Village Surgery, at 8 Amenbury Lane, is an NHS practice with a second site in Wheathampstead. Its multidisciplinary team includes GPs, paramedics, physician associates, nurses, clinical pharmacists and specialists in mental health, dietetics, physiotherapy and menopause care, with each patient assigned a named GP.
Routine and administrative requests, including prescriptions and sick notes, can be handled online, with responses usually within two working days. For urgent needs outside surgery hours, patients are directed to NHS 111. Contact: 01582 712021.
