Lussmanns is a fish, steak and grill restaurant on Leyton Road, part of Andrei Lussmann’s small Hertfordshire brasserie group. It occupies an 18th-century former stable block overlooking Leyton Green, with a walled garden used for outdoor dining and its own distilled garden gin made from herbs grown on site.
The kitchen holds a three-star Sustainable Restaurant Association rating and a five-star food hygiene rating, with a menu built around sustainably sourced fish, steaks and vegetarian dishes. Tables can be booked online for parties of one to eight; larger groups enquire directly. It is a short walk from Harpenden station.
